Now that the weather is staring to cool down and you are in school during the day you can do different activities and exercises that are better for cooler weather- running is one of them!
Running can be defined as: to go quickly by moving the legs more rapidly than a walk in such a manner that for an instant both feet are off the ground- sounds pretty technical doesn't it?
Beginning running is quite simple actually, just go outside and walk as fast as you can and then walk faster, now faster, now faster...ahhh you are running! Start getting in the habit of running when you get home from school each day. Start with short distances around you backyard and even on your street and increase your distances as you become more used to running. Run with your parents, run with your brothers and sisters, run with your friends, run by yourself! Running is a great way to shake off the school day and clear your mind while getting Fit!
